This past week has been quite a packed week for us and our church. We accomplished two big goals in one event. We had our annual Bible Conference, for which Turtle was responsible to plan and pull off (with lots of help of course). We hosted Jim and Paulette Kirby with us Friday night. Jim was one of the speakers at the Conference. We also spent several hours over the week from Tuesday to Tuesday with Nathaniel and Mabel Hutchison and their three children (Luke, Noah, and Chloe). What a joyful time we had getting acquainted. The Hutchisons are missionaries to the Philippines. Nathaniel was another of the Conference speakers, but he was also being interviewed as a new missionary for our church to support. Part of the last day was spent at Rose's favorite place for a picnic - the Chicken Park. We are trying to recover some strength, but a week in the Midwest with family and the FIRE Conference is coming soon with some better hope of R&R. Our daughter, Joanna,. and all her family are coming for a long visit at the end of May. We are looking forward to seeing three new grandchildren rather than their pictures, but we will post some of them when they come.
