Rose and Turtle went to the FIRE Conference this week at Mount Hermon Christian Conference near Santa Cruz, California. The camp was in the midst of a redwood forest. The azaleas and the rhododendrons were in bloom in addition to numerous other flowers. The picture of Turtle by the redwood gives you an idea how big around the tree was. The conference was great. Rose was able to meet people who had been praying for us over the last year. We went sightseeing with our firends Jim and Paulette Kirby on the day after the conference ended. The highlight was the 17 Mile Road through Carmel, California . . . so many amazing views, the last was Pebble Beach Golf Course and the 18th green. We also drove down the coast to Big Sur, and the panoramas were beyond words. We came home refreshed by good preaching and fellowship and amazed at God's creation.

Love all these photos! I was at the beach this same week... just out in the middle of the pacific though :)
