On Friday nights Rose and Turtle have a ministry at Thunderbird Graduate School of Global Managament. This started last January through David Choi, a Korean student who came to our church. Turtle has been teaching through the Gospel of John, and Rose provides home-made cookies. Beside American students, we have had others from Korea, Japan, Brazil, Singapore, and China. Occasionally there are ethnic nights for the students and their friends, and last Saturday night was Asian Night. There were ethnic foods from Japan, Thailand, Korea, and China, and there were ethnic entertainments. Above are two of the entertainments ... the top picture is a Korean drum group, and the picture below is a Japanese gymnastic group (Takashi, the young man on top, is one of our Bible study students).
