We had another fun adventure Friday and Saturday. Saturday was a Bible Conference in Rio Rico, Arizona (near Nogales). We had an excellent day there with our friends Jim and Paulette Kirby and their church. Turtle was one of the speakers for the day. We had decided to add an excursion to our trip to Rio Rico and went to a part of Arizona that neither of us had seen. First, we went to Willcox and to a farm called Apple Annies. We have friends from our church who lived there through the summer and fall operating a Kettle Corn concession stand. For those of you familiar with Young's Farm, this place was similar. I have never seen so many pumpkins in all my life . . . there had to be over 40 acres of them, and all different kinds and shapes. They also had acres of u-pick vegetables of all kinds, a field of sunflowers, and corn fields that took Turtle back to fall in Iowa. A few miles away was Apple Annies Orchard. Sadly there was a late frost this year, and the apple crop was very small. All in all it was another beautiful place in Arizona that made us long for rural life for awhile.

Oh I wish we could have gone with you!! We've heard about that place and were thinking of going this year. I didn't realize it was so close to where you were going. I'm glad you had a good time.
I love your pictures! Glad you got a taste of autumn in Arizona!
