FALL TOUR - DAY 2

The day was filled with walks in Orange City, a predominately Dutch community. One of our stops was in the chapel of Northwestern College. I would sure like to hear a concert on their pipe organ. Most of the trees had lost their leaves, but a few were remaining that were beautiful. We also went to the central business area where the annual tulip festival is held. In that area we had a treat at the Dutch bakery, we saw many varieties of snow shovels and snow blowers at the hardware store, and we enjoyed the park play area. We also make a stop at a Dutch gift store where they make wooden shoes. Rose tried one on, but was not impressed. Turtle found a small Dutch (blue and white) turtle to add to his collection.
