May 21 - Back Home

We left Carmel, IN, to return home. We stopped at a rest stop in Illinois, and Allyn found a nest of baby robins. We tried to take a picture, but we could not get a good one. On the way back to the airport, we stopped to see the Tocks in Illinois and the Perkins in Saint Louis one more time. When we arrived home in Phoenix, we experienced a most pleasant surprise that night and all day Friday - gentle rain, high humidity, and cool temperatures ... what a way to acclimate to Phoenix (it had hit 107 while we were gone)! Good to be away ... good to be home ... and now the count down begins to the coming of the Dungca family next Thursday and to meeting three new grandchildren!
