On our Midwest trip we stopped in Jefferson City, Missouri to tour the capitol building. The museum of Missouri history on the first floor was very interesting, and the architecture was quite beautiful. However, the most amazing sights were these two inscriptions around the first level ceiling of the rotunda . . . very insightful into the builders of this structure and very needful to remember in these days. In case you cannot make them out . . . the top one says "THE LORD OF HOSTS IS WITH US YET - LEST WE FORGET" and the bottom one says "THE EARTH IS THE LORD'S AND THE FULLNESS THEREOF".
