The main purpose for our Florida trip was to gather Rose's clan in one place for a week together. Since everyone was familiar with Fort Myers Beach area, that was the chosen place. Jeremy deserves a special thank you for finding and obtaining the excellent rental property. We all had a most enjoyable week together.
The weather was as good as it could be during our stay. Fay, a large tropical storm, passed through Fort Myers Beach today. We are glad we were not there, and we are thankful that it was only a tropical storm and not a hurricane for our friends there.
On Saturday night after Rose and Turtle returned home, we went to a church social gathering at Organ Stop Pizza. The pizza was good, and the pipe organ with its numerous other "bells and whistles" was absolutely amazing. We went without the camera, but it is now on our list of special places to see and hear when you visit.
We are about recouped and back in the regular routine.
